Lanzarote Launches Golf Pass 2+2. A New Way to Sell the Canary Islands' Most Unique Golf Holiday
Lanzarote, Canary Islands - Golf Costa Teguise and Lanzarote Golf have joined forces to launch the Golf Pass Lanzarote 2+2, a net trade rate package designed specifically for golf tour operators and travel agents seeking to add a genuinely differentiated Canary Islands destination to their portfolio.
The Golf Pass includes four green fees - two at each course - with shared buggy, available across three seasons from May 2026 through September 2027. Pricing is structured as a simple per-person net rate with no minimum group requirements, allowing operators to integrate it into any existing hotel, flight, or car hire package.
"Lanzarote doesn't compete on golf course rankings - it competes on the complete holiday experience," said Mónica Díaz Vecino, Director at Global Hemisphere Golf Travel. "The island offers something no other Canary Island can: a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, César Manrique's architectural legacy, volcanic landscapes, ocean-front hotels, and authentic local gastronomy. The Golf Pass makes it easy for operators to package all of that with quality golf."
The two courses offer contrasting experiences. Golf Costa Teguise is the island's established layout - mature, ocean-view, and strategically rewarding. Lanzarote Golf provides a volcanic links-style experience on the Atlantic edge, with dramatic elevation changes and black lava rock framing the fairways.
Lanzarote's appeal centres on the senior golf traveller who values the full holiday experience over intensive golf. With year-round sunshine, no high-rise development, and a tranquil pace of life, the island targets a client segment that is growing across European source markets.
